Shawn Kabungaidze. I paint things.

I'm a Zimbabwean artist living in South Haven, Michigan — self-taught, which mostly means I learned by messing up a lot of canvases and refusing to quit. I grew up around my dad Freddie's hardware store back home, drawing on whatever was flat and not nailed down. Somewhere between the blueprints and the paint aisles, this became the plan.

These days I split my time between the easel, an iPad, and this store. The paintings come first. Everything else is just me finding more walls for them.

Lads Palace is the house. That's my baby — everything I make lives under this roof:

TrendVault — you're standing in it. My paintings as prints (posters from $19.99, framed and canvas if you're feeling serious), plus a small bench of home finds I actually vetted. If it's in here, I'd put it in my own house.

TRVPKIT — the clothing line. Zimbabwe in every stitch, designed by me, worn loud.

Services — I also build websites and ad campaigns for other small businesses, same care as the paintings. That lives here.

Commissions are open. Portraits, your dog looking noble, that one photo you love — digital pieces start at $60, originals on canvas after that. I take a handful a month so they each get real time. Tell me what you're dreaming up and we'll make it real.

the short version

One artist, one house, no shortcuts. My wife Sequoia is the quality control department — she tells me the truth about every piece before you ever see it.
